Check whether your device supports eSIM

Two checks, both under a minute, and both more reliable than any published device list.

Manufacturers add and remove eSIM support between regional variants of the same model, so the only answer we trust is the one your own device gives.

Check 1 — dial the code

Open the phone dialler and enter *#06#. The screen shows your device identifiers. If an EID is listed — a long number, usually 32 digits — the device has eSIM hardware.

Check 2 — look in settings

  • iPhone: Settings → General → About. Look for an EID entry, or for “Available SIM” / “Digital SIM”.
  • Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs. Look for “Download a SIM instead” [Samsung: Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM].
  • iPad: Settings → General → About. Cellular models list an EID; Wi-Fi-only models do not.

Hardware is only half the answer

A device can have eSIM hardware and still refuse our profile if it is locked to a carrier. Check that too before you buy.
