Temporary brand asset

Brand assets

Logos and guidance for press and partners.

Everything on this page is ours to give you. Please use it as supplied rather than redrawing it — the marks are simple on purpose and they stop working when they are altered.

Temporary brand asset

These marks are working files produced for the current build of the site. They are usable and they are ours, but they may be replaced before launch. Check with us before committing them to print or to a partner announcement.

Everything in one download

The brand package contains all four marks plus the written usage notes. If you only take one thing from this page, take this.

Contains 4 SVG marks and a usage README.

Logo files

Vector SVG. The letterforms are drawn as paths, so they render without our fonts.

  • Wordmark for light backgrounds

    Wordmark for light backgrounds

    SVG file

The default. Ink #101828 letterforms with the blue app-icon tile. Use on white, on the pale canvas grey, and on any light photograph with enough contrast behind the mark.

  • Wordmark for dark backgrounds

    Wordmark for dark backgrounds

    SVG file

White letterforms with a white tile carrying the ink glyph. Use on dark surfaces and on dark photography. Do not place it on a mid-tone.

    Single-colour wordmark

    SVG file

One colour, inheriting whatever colour it is placed in via currentColor. For single-colour print, embroidery, engraving, and any context where the blue cannot be reproduced.

  • App icon

    App icon

    SVG file

The square mark on its own. App icons, avatars, favicons and anywhere the full wordmark would be illegible. Never use the icon as a substitute for the wordmark in body copy.

Colour

Values are generated from our design tokens, so what is printed here is exactly what ships in the product.

Two colours that cannot carry white text

The teal and the gold both fall below the WCAG AA contrast threshold against white. They are correct as graphic colours and as fills behind dark text, and wrong as a background for white type. We pair them with ink #101828 everywhere in the product, and so should you.

Brand

The blue carries the brand. Teal and gold are accents — small areas only, never a second brand colour.

Typography

One family, four weights, a strict scale.

Inter

We set everything in Inter. It is an open-source typeface under the SIL Open Font License — we do not own it and we do not redistribute it in the brand package. Download it from its own project page, or substitute your system UI sans-serif if you cannot.

Where Inter is unavailable, fall back to the platform UI sans-serif rather than a display face. Our CJK fallbacks are declared explicitly so Chinese and Japanese text does not collapse into a default serif.

Weights we use

  • Regular 400 — body copy
  • Medium 500 — labels, table headers
  • Semibold 600 — headings, buttons
  • Bold 700 — display headlines only

Scale

One eSIM, every border

One eSIM, every border

One eSIM, every border

One eSIM, every border

One eSIM, every border

Headings are set tight and slightly negative-tracked; body copy is set at a comfortable measure and never below 16px.

Clear space

Keep space on every side of the wordmark equal to the cap height of the S. Nothing crosses into it — not text, not rules, not the edge of a photograph. The dashed area is the exclusion zone, not part of the artwork.

Minimum size

Shown at the minimum, 120px wideShown at the minimum, 24px squareBelow these sizes the monoline strokes start to break up. If you need the mark smaller than the wordmark minimum, use the app icon instead.

What not to do

Each example below is a real thing that happens. All six break the mark.

  • Incorrect
Do not stretch or squash. Scale both dimensions together.
  • Incorrect
Do not recolour the wordmark. Use the monochrome file if you need one colour.
  • Incorrect
Do not rotate, arc or set the wordmark on an angle.
  • Incorrect
Do not add shadows, glows, outlines, gradients or bevels.
  • Incorrect
Do not crowd the mark. Respect the clear space.
  • Incorrect
Do not place the mark on a background it cannot be read against.

Writing our name

  • SAIMING is set in full capitals in running text. Never Saiming, SaiMing or Sai Ming.
  • The legal entity is SAIMING INC.. Use the full entity name in contracts, filings and legal notices; use SAIMING everywhere else.
  • We sell travel eSIM data plans. “A SAIMING eSIM”, not “a SAIMING sim card” — there is no card.

Press and partnerships

For interviews, product briefings, or approval on a piece of co-branded material, reach us directly. We will answer as ourselves, not through an agency.

Please send us anything that puts our mark next to another brand before it goes out. This is the one thing we ask for, and it is quick.
