An eSIM is a SIM card built into your phone. Instead of posting you a piece of plastic, we send a QR code that loads a new mobile plan onto the phone you already own.
After checkout we email you a QR code. Scan it from your phone’s settings while you are on Wi-Fi. Installation takes about a minute and only has to be done once per eSIM.
Buy close to your trip, because the validity starts at purchase rather than at first use. Install the eSIM before you fly — installing needs an internet connection, and hotel or home Wi-Fi is easier than an airport.
No. Some providers give you a grace period before the clock starts — we do not have one. Activate the plan when you are ready to use it.
At purchase. We provision the plan as soon as your payment clears, and the 365 days run from that moment — installing it later does not push the start back.
Our widest plan covers 182 destinations. Coverage depends on the plan you buy, so check the destination list on each plan before you order.
No, and we would rather say so plainly. The Global plan covers 182 destinations — the full list, and the ones it excludes, are published on the coverage page.
Yes. Every plan covers a whole region or footprint, so one eSIM keeps working as you cross borders inside that footprint.
No. Your existing SIM stays in the phone and keeps receiving calls and texts. The SAIMING eSIM sits alongside it and handles data only.
Your phone needs to support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Most phones released in the last few years qualify. The compatibility page explains how to check yours in under a minute.
